Enrichment Camps/Programs
Augusta Christian Schools is pleased to offer Camps and Enrichment Courses for the summer of 2023. Please read over each section carefully and visit the links for more information or to register.
Please check your calendars carefully to avoid conflicts that would necessitate refunds. Eventbrite, our camp registration platform, charges us fees that we absorb into the registration costs. Those fees are non-refundable should you request a refund.
Fun in the Son Summer Camp
Fun in the "Son" Summer Day Camp is for students who have completed grades K4-5th.
Dates: May 30 - July 28 (closed the week of July 3-7)

S.T.E.M. Camp 2023
Release your inner super hero with a week of fun and exciting STEM challenges! We're soaring into coding, science, technology, engineering, and math like never before. Camp fee includes a t-shirt and a week of imagination, invention and creativity, all combined with Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
Grade Levels: Rising 1st-6th graders
Dates: June 5-9, 8:30 am to 2:30 pm
Camp Costs: $200 (early-bird pricing through April 21 - $225 starting April 22)

Art Adventures with Miss Wendy
We are pleased to offer three "Art Adventures with Miss Wendy" Summer Art Camps. These camps will be led by our after school art class teacher, Ms. Wendy Murphy. Camps will include a variety of fun and engaging art projects and games, painting, sculpture, mixed media, small clay project, papier-mache, recycled art, cultural and art history, and more!
WHO MAY ATTEND: Camps are for Elementary students entering 1st-6th grades in the fall (current K5-5th grade students). There must be at least 6 students signed up in order for the camp to take place and there is a maximum capacity of 21 students.
Each camp is different so feel free to register for all three!
Camp Dates and Times: June 12-16, June 19-23 and June 26-30, 9 am - 12 noon
Cost: $215 (includes a $15 supply fee)

Summer Math Camp
Summer Math Enrichment Camp for Rising 7th - 8th Graders
Camp Director: Cheri Miller
Dates: June 5-8, 9 am - 12 noon
Cost: $110
This Camp is designed to help your student be proficient in the level of math they are currently on and give them a head start for the math they will be taking in the upcoming year. Each day will be interactive, using hands on, group and individual work to make sure they are keeping their math skills sharp this summer.

Math Enrichment Camp Registration
6th Grade Boot Camp
6th Grade Boot Camp is available to all rising 6th graders, new families, or previously homeschooled students.
This camp is designed for incoming sixth graders to give them a head start into their middle school journey. The goal of the Boot Camp is to help ease the transition and nerves that the students face as they enter sixth grade.
This camp is only open to current or new ACS students entering the 6th grade in the Fall.
Athletic Camps
The Augusta Christian athletic department will be offering several camps this summer. Participants will be instructed in individual skill development as well as learning important team concepts. Additionally, ACS athletics seeks to build student-athletes in areas of spiritual growth, motivation, and mental approaches to the game. Each camp is led by qualified coaches with many years of experience. For more information about a particular camp, please click on the links below.
Basketball
Elementary Basketball Camp
Co-Ed Basketball Camp - Rising 2nd-5th Graders and Novice Rising 6th Graders
Date: June 19-22, 9 am - 12 noon
Cost: $100 for ACS students (current and those entering in the fall); $110 for non-ACS students
Join us this summer in the Augusta Christian Gym as students work on their game skills and have a great time in the process. The Lions Basketball Camp will include a mixture of individual fundamental skill work, team skill development, camp contests and scrimmages. In addition, biblical character development will be offered each day based on the game of basketball.
This Co-Ed camp is for elementary students (rising 2nd graders-5th graders and novice rising 6th graders). Kids should simply dress appropriately for basketball activities and may bring a water bottle and their own snacks if they like. We will provide a sports drink and snack during our break time each day.

Middle School Basketball Co-Ed Camp
Co-Ed - For experienced 6th graders and rising 7th-8th graders
Date: July 10-13, 9 am - 12 noon (please note change of dates)
Costs: $100 for ACS students (or those entering ACS in the fall); $110 for non-ACS students
Join us this summer in the Augusta Christian Gym as we open the doors for students from all around the CSRA to work on their game skills and have a great time in the process. The Lions Basketball Camp will include a mixture of individual fundamental skill work, team skill development, camp contests and scrimmages. In addition, biblical character development will be offered each day based out of the game of basketball.
This Basketball Camp is for Middle School boys and girls (experienced 6th graders and rising 7th-8th graders). Kids should simply dress appropriately for basketball activities and may bring a water bottle and their own snacks if they like. We will provide a sports drink and snack during our break time each day.
