Augusta Christian Schools Talent Development Program seeks a full-time Teacher for our 1st-3rd grade classroom for the 2016-2017 school year. Our Talent Development Program is specifically designed to assist students with learning disabilities, including ADHD, Cognitive or Processing Disorders, Specific Learning Disabilities and high-functioning students on the Autism Spectrum. Class sizes range from 5 to 14 students per class, with a maximum of 10 students in an Elementary classroom. Many classes also have a teacher's assistant. A Master's degree within the field of Teaching or Education is required. A Master's in Special Education is preferred for this position. Previous teaching experience is preferred, but is not required. Head Boys Basketball Coach
This position is responsible for the leadership and direction of the basketball program (grades 6-12). Experience as a basketball coach or assistant coach at the high school or college level is preferred. The successful candidate must be program minded and possess effective coaching techniques and skills, a thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents, and students.
